Implementation of a CAA compliant SAP Security at a leading National Airline*

The UK branch of Turnkey Consulting helped the engineering division of this leading national airline meet the significant challenges of implementing a security solution for the SAP Aerospace and Defence (A&D) industry solution.

The key challenge for this client was to implement the SAP A&D module to support aircraft maintenance in their fleet of commercial aircraft. The organisation was to use this system for everything from finance and HR to the declaring aircraft components serviceable and fitting them to aircraft.

Through extensive consulting with key client staff and liaison with our SAP contacts Turnkey’s consultants worked hard to understand the complexities of the client’s business and the unique requirements of the aviation industry. We then helped the client to define a number of extensions to the standard SAP security solutions that allowed them to meet the rigorous regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA.)

The result was a SAP Security solution that not only met the client’s functional business requirements but that was also fully CAA compliant.
