Turnkey Consulting promotes 'knowledge exchange' for SAP Users

Turnkey Consulting (www.turnkeyconsulting.com) is to share its industry expertise and customer experience with members of SAP's User Group.  The SAP security specialist is presenting at two forthcoming Special Interest Groups:

'Automating BW7 Reporting Access from an ECC System' (27th January)
Business Intelligence Special Interest Group
The presentation  explains a method for automating access in the BW system based on a user's display access in the ECC system using analysis authorisation variables.  It shows the benefits of an approach to reporting security that aligns reporting and display access in the source system, and outlines how analysis and SAP ECC authorisations differ.  It will also give a practical example of deployment, which illustrates how the technique can reduce administration time and costs.

'SAP GRC Access Controls Optimises for Operation' (9th February)
ACS Special Interest Group
This session compares the benefits of combining the components of the SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Access Controls Suite with using them in isolation.  Although there is a strong business case for integrating the capabilities in order to have a consistent view of compliance throughout the organisation, implementation can be a complex project.  This presentation also uses a practical illustration of undertaking a technical programme of this nature.

Richard Hunt, managing director of Turnkey Consulting, explains:  “User Group meetings are a good opportunity for SAP users to share their experiences in order to extend their knowledge.  Our presentations further this cause using 'real life' examples to illustrate how to get the most out of the technology and applications.  The end result is that both SAP vendors and customers benefit.”
